I finally finished my Christmas shopping. YAY for me. So I decided to reward myself with a trip to The Bay to hit up the MAC counter J
I overdid and got WAY too much stuff but hey I am worth it HAHA.
I bought some items from the Holiday 2011 collection. The first item was the Ice Parade Snowglobe Eye Shadow Palette in Warm. It has six eye shadow in it: Winterscape, Patina, Gaelic Gold, Magical Mist, Buckwheat and Midnight Flurry. It was $45. I am not really a fan of the snowglobe-y deco on the top of it. Seems a bit too much but I do really like the pretty warm neutrals in it. I can’t wait to use this. I wrapped it and put it under the tree. To Me - From Me! HEHE
I also picked up The Make It Perfect Brush Kit – Mineralize. I had meant to grab another 217 brush (one of my all time favourites) but I thought why not try this cute travel set. It has 4 brushes 187SE, 130SE, 286, 282 duo fibre brushes. I thought the clear glitter handles were cute. So I had to try them out. It was $53. Yikes. I had always wanted to get a 187 brush for cream blushes and highlighting and I really want to see how the 282 duo fibre handles. Also not a fan of the clear makeup bag the brushes came with. L. To be honest I didn’t even know MAC sold travel sets of brushes so it was a very pleasant discovery.
The last item I picked up was a cream blush in Posey. I always wanted to try one of MAC’s cream blushes. Once I have had more time to use play with these products, I will post a review.
Luckily, I had a $15 off coupon for The Bay, so I had a tiny discount. Well at least it covered the taxes and a little. Sigh... now two more sleeps to open my present to me.
Oh keep posted – next week I am planning on doing my first giveaway for subscribers...... J
Merry Christmas all! Have a safe holiday this weekend xoxo
