I finally got my first Topbox! And after five months of waiting, I can say it was worth it! Y  YAY! Finally!

                        

Topbox.ca gave members a choice this month between the ‘eco green’ tube or the traditional tube. I opted for the traditional tube for my first box as I wanted to see the original tube myself. I think it is so pretty.  I am going to use it for packing my makeup brushes when I travel this summer. No more squished brushes.

I am excited to try everything that came with the May Topbox.  I did, however, have one issue with my box...

First time-fighting eye cream for the delicate eye area, diminishes fine lines, puffiness and dark circles.
I am hesitant to use any eye cream as I have really sensitive skin under my eyes. Most eye creams make me break out/develop rashes. But I am starting to develop fine lines around my eyes soooo I am going to try it.

Okay I am a total brush whore. I hoard makeup brushes. So this offer excites me. What makes me hesitant to buy a set is the state my Bronzer brush came in. As soon as I picked up the brush to lift out of the Topbox tube, the handle fell off L not cool. I sent an email to Topbox so I will update when I hear back. Other than that, the brush is an incredibly soft natural fiber brush.

Edited to add: Topbox Support responded to my email today and will replace the brush in my June Topbox. Great customer service Topbox. Thank you for the quick response :)

This is my first Deborah Lippmann polish! I like the colour and I will be trying it out this weekend. What Lola Wants is a pearly lilac shimmer polish.  On the bottom of the polish it says Kelly Ripa. So this polish is one of the celebrity collaboration polishes. Kelly Ripa is the host of morning talk show LIVE with Kelly (formerly Regis and Kelly).





Overall I am very happy with my first Topbox – broken brush and all.  It was worth the wait.
I had originally signed up December 2011 and got put on the May Topbox sub list K . From what I hear Topbox has sold out all the way to September?? Yikes!
Yes, I am very happy with this box, the price, the contents blah blah, everything but my broken brush handle LOL. I will definitely continue to subscribe J
