Fyrinnae Minis – Loose Eyeshadow – some neutral shades
A few months ago, I purchased several loose shadow minis from Fyrinnae.com. You actually get quite a bit of loose shadow (1/3 tsp each) in each jar. I finally got around to swatching the loose shadows J.
Fyrinnae is an indie makeup company that prides themselves by being completely unique with their colour formulations. All products are vegan. Fyrinnae is well known for their awesome vibrant colours. You should definitely check out their site. Not a fan of loose shadow? Well Fyrinnae recently released 15 pressed versions of their popular loose shadows.
From Fyrinnae website, the loose shadow ingredients:
Eye Shadow Ingredients:Mica. May contain: Iron Oxides,
Titanium Dioxide, Manganese Violet, Ultramarines, Tin Oxide, Chromium Oxide,
Copper Powder, Bronze Powder, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate,Calcium Sodium
Borosilicate, FD&C Blue#1, FD&C Red#40, FD&C Yellow#5, Ferric
Ferrocyanide, Silica,Styrene/PVP Copolymer, Myristyl Myristate. All ingredients
are FDA-approved for eye-area use, and there is never any glitter used.
The loose shadows I got are more on the neutral side with the exception of Bite Me. The top half of all the swatches is done over Fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy. The bottom half is swatches over UDPP. I just wanted to show how much the Pixie Epoxy makes eyeshadows pop. The staying power of the Pixie Epoxy is amazing. You can really see the difference in the darker shades.

My favorite
so far has to be Orangutan and a close second of Damn Paladins. I find these shadows to be rich, pigmented and very smooth.
Here is look
I did with Bite Me as my crease colour. It’s not as scary as the swatch LOL
What's your favorite shade?

In LOVE with the koala color. And I must check out this primer you mentioned...the difference is actually amazing. This is so bad for my budget!
ReplyDeleteI really like Koala too. The Pixie Epoxy is like magic for loose shadows, well any shadow. But it is best to pat the colour over it. It is like eyeshadow glue LOL AND you can get a sample size to try first. I think for like $2.50... It is way cheaper than UDPP.
DeleteDid you swatch with tape?? These all look so pigmented and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI did swatch with tape! I saw Mandy @ Prettymaking swatched with tape and her swatches are freaking beautiful. It helps with fall out. Since I was using two different types of primers, I wanted it to look clean. Swatching loose shadow on your arm isn't as easy as one would think LOL
ReplyDeleteI thought you would like the more neutral shades :)
Grateful for sharing thiss
