My Glossybox was delivered on Dec 27th but I
was away and just picked it up today. I was going to wait until I got back to
work on Wednesday but I saw a sneak peak and decided to brave the sub zero
temps and drive downtown to my office to pick it up. Brrr it was (((COLD))).
The December Edition was a collaboration with LouLou
Magazine. LouLou is a Canadian magazine that focuses on beauty, beauty
products, fashion and shopping.
The actual box was silver instead of the Glossybox pink.
Me likey the colour. And it was jammed packed
:-D The accompanying card was
from LouLou wishing us a Happy New Year and included tips from the LouLou team
for each product. The card also indicated that there was another Golden Ticket
item for 50 subscription boxes, a Nobia statement necklace. Again I was denied!
LOL Oh well ‘dems da breaks...

Full size: 75ml/$22.99The card stated that we would get either the Positively Ageless Day SPF30 or the Ultra Calming. I like Aveeno products. I received the full sized Positively Radiant Moisturizer a while back and just recently finished it. I already bought a new one LOL but I will try the Ultra Calming. My recent cold and weather have severely dehydrated my skin, which makes it prone to irritations. So this moisturizer will be used!

Full size: 75ml/$22.99I did not even know that Aveeno had a tinted moisturizer! Whaaa?? Where have I been? It had to have been beside the regular moisturizer? How did I miss it? I will be trying this out pronto.

I have had several Glazewear lip glosses and they were alright so I appreciate the new addition to my ‘collection’... I personally don’t like Avon eyeshadow but they do have other great makeup items. For instance, we received a Mark lip stain last summer and I loved it so much I ordered another of the same colour. It was on sale so I had to... hehe.

This is a pretty colour for winter. I don’t think it is really ‘raisin’ but more of a maroon – leaning more towards a deep red.

I usually don’t use dry shampoos as my hair doesn’t get overly oily in between shampoos. I might try this out just to see what’s what ;) But it is a good sized sample.
Tresemme Split Remedy Sachet – sample
Full size: 700ml/$5.99I am sort of excited to try this out. It is supposed to bind up to 80% of split ends. I hope it works because I get splits like crazy. Stoopid frizzy head! My hair is in desperate need right now! To bad it is only one sachet but if it works I may just get it. For $5.99 each, I can afford that LOL.

I wear false lashes once in a while when the mood strikes me or to an event where I want to have some extra WOW factor. These lashes look very thick and perhaps a little stiff. So if you find them too stiff, try rolling the band around your finger or something to get more of a curve happening. You will need to buy lash glue to use these. I use Revlon lash glue. The brush makes the glue application easy.
Edited to Add: These lashes DID come with a tiny tube of lash glue. Mine fell on the floor when I opened it ..ooops.

ReplyDeleteI got almost the exact same box. while I appreciate the full sized items, I still don't feel the price increase was warranted. :(
