NOTD – Hard Candy Jelly Bean Blue
So the other day I was perusing the aisles at Walmart and
I ended buying a little bit more than I intended. Isn’t that always the way
though? I was only going to get foundation and dog treats. I left with foundation,
concealer, real technique brushes, nail polishes, shoes, dog treats, cookies, shower curtain
etc... LOL Way more than I intended to spend.

But I finally came across the Hard Candy - Candy Sprinkle
polishes. So I grabbed two. Jelly Bean Blue and Sugar Rush. The last few times
I was at Walmart, these polishes were sold out already.

Below is Jelly Bean Blue. It is a light blue tinted white crème base with
multi-colored blue glitters. It reminds me of Easter jelly beans for sure. I
used three coats to get full opacity. I found the first coat very patchy but
the other coat evened everything out. Since I am a crappy polisher (is that a
word? HA) I needed a third coat on some nails.

I found the formula to be a bit goopy so I am not sure
how many times I am going to get to use this before it is shot. But for $3.97.
I can’t really complain because I really like the end result.
I can’t wait to slap on Sugar Rush now...

ReplyDeleteYes I finally found the RT brushes this time. They must have just restocked them. They are always cleared out the past couple months. Same with the polishes - all the new Essie shades Gone :( I always spend more than I plan when I go to walmart. Thank goodness the new Targat store is on the other side of the city!
