Rose On and On – L’Oreal Color Caresse Wet Shine Stains Review
About a month ago I picked up one of these L’Oreal Lip Stains
in Infinite Fuchsia (previous post HERE)
After trying Infinite Fuchsia, I had to try Rose On and On.
It is a soft dusty rose pink colour. The first coat goes on sheer but with two coats, it
had a nice semi-opaque coverage.
As with Infinite Fuchsia, I noticed a slight chemically
smell to Rose On and On. It is not too bothersome. I really only noticed it when I was
applying it. This stain lasted about 4-5 hours on me. I am an AVID coffee
drinker during the day so it may last longer for others. The packaging is pretty chic. The paddle applicator was a little wierd the first time I used it but now I find it great for applying the colour evenly over the lip.
L: two coat R: one coat |
I absolutely loved the colour Rose On and On. It is like my lips but
way better and shinier J.
Buuuttttt I did have the same problem as I did with Infinite Fuschia. After a
couple days of repeated wear, my lips because painfully dry and cracked. It is
these stains that are doing it L.
That is so unfortunate because I really love the shiny long wear of these lip
stains. I am still going to wear it but just not every day.
Ah the things we do for beauty....
Have you tried the L’Oreal Color Caresse Wet Shine Stains?

I have the infinite fuchsia one, the issue i have with that one is that i can't get an even application unless i do several coats, but then my lips end up looking super intense
ReplyDeleteI had that same issue! So now I apply one layer then let it set for a minute while I do something else then apply another layer. Not the best method for getting an even application but its that or have super shiny fuschia lips LOL.
DeleteThe colour is gorgeous! Shame it dries out/cracks your lips :(
ReplyDeleteIt is a damn dirty shame!!! LOL But I will still wear it once in a while :o I even tried a lip balm first but still got cracked. LOL
