NYX Mosaic Powder blush

I haven’t had a NYX blush in a long time. This is the
first time I ever tried the Mosaic blushes. It contains five colors in the
blusher. Although they are tiny, they probably could be tapped into to get the
individual colors. I just swirled my brush in the whole pan and used all the
colors to get a light peachy bronze. I am totally digging it!

J.Cat Beauty Sparkling

This palette looks very pretty; all sparkly and such. But
I am not sure how much use I will get out of it. I don’t wear glitter too much.
I will give it a try. Yah never know...maybe there is a glitter diva inside

Starlooks Lipliner

Tipsy is a pinky orange hue. It is pretty bright. I tried
it alone with some nude lip gloss over it. The lip liner made every dry patch
on my lips very noticeable soooo make sure you have baby smooth lips before
applying this. I think this would be pretty good as a base for a hot pink
lipstick. Also to note is that Starlooks also offers a monthly sub; Starbox $15/month. Canadians need to call their Customer Service department as shipping rates vary.

I really like this highlighter. I remember thinking
before who needs a separate pencil highlighter for your brows? But now I can
see why. Applied on the underside of the brow makes your brow pop and look
very clean.

Cailyn Line-Fix

I was truly impressed with this liner upon application.
It went on very smoothly. I even used the built-in brush that came with it,
which also surprised me. If you use the flat side you can get a thicker line
and by turning the brush to the thin side you can achieve a sleek line. I have
been wearing this liner all day and so far no smudging! Plus it is purple!!! |

Lucky! I got a cream blush instead which I am afraid of...I also got a dry shampoo instead of the eyeliner. The glitter palette seems like poor quality from what I've been seeing...
ReplyDeleteDon't be scared of cream blushes. I didn't like them at first because i hated applying them with my fingers but then I discovered a Mac 130 brush is amazing for applying cream blushes. I think any smallish stipple type brush would do. I agree that the glitter palette is not all it could be. It seems a bit patchy to me.

ReplyDeleteThe Cailyn eyeliner is pretty darn good. I have worn it twice since I got it. It applies so smoothly and it doesn't budge at all once it sets. Totally impressed with it :D
