I sit here with
my tea and my blankie wrapped around me. Damn this frozen winter will just not
quit!! Since it is too cold to go anywhere I am playing with my Ipsy Glam bag.
The theme for
January is 19 Reasons, which I am assuming is the number of brand partners or possible
items that were available for this month.
The bag is a blue/powder
blue with the outline of beauty products on it. It isn’t the prettiest bag but
it wasn’t the worst. I think its pretty sturdy and made well but it stunk
really bad like rubber/gasoline or industrial something. I am going to toss it
in the wash and if it survives I will use it to store some lip balms.

Night creams I have lots of but a great hydrating day cream that can withstand these harsh winter days is what I really need right now! My face is sooo dry right now. This Nourish Organic face lotion has Moroccan Argan Oil, rosewater and shea butter in it so I am hoping it helps.

Coastal Scents Small Foundation Brush full size

@coastalscent.comI have tons of Coastal scents brushes and I quite like them. But this synthetic foundation brush is kind of too stiff. It is really like a paddle. I don’t normally use these types of foundation brushes anyhow and I don’t think I will be using this one. So sad because I really do like Coastal Scent brushes.

micabeauty.comI have been wearing this balm on and off for the last few days. The colour is nice, a rose mauve color. It is the same shade as my lips but it is not MLBB status. The texture is nice at first. It seems emollient but after about 15 minutes I notice the balm dries down. It isn’t uncomfortable or anything but my lips were dry. It did seem to stay on for a few hours. But I would not repurchase, definitely not for $30.

I was happy that we got the Buff shade which is a nice neutral tone. It seems to match my skin pretty good. Well under florescent lights anyhow LOL. I tested it out on my chin while I was at work. It blended in well and I found the coverage to be light to medium. It wore well for the rest of the day as far as I could tell from that swatched area. The texture is pretty thin and light. The tube is clear so you can clearly see what shade you are getting. At first I thought it was pretty small for a full sized foundation but let me tell you a little goes a long way! I used a teeny tiny dot to swatch and that covered the back of my hand and my chin area. I thought it was never going to stop blending LOL Anyhow I can’t wait to play with this foundation some more.

bag this month. I was happy with it; got me another exfoliant, a moisturizer
and a foundation that seems to match me pretty well. What did you think about

I kind of like the bag! Although, I don't know how many more bags I can handle! I am still waiting to receive mine but I guess I could always take a peek at my glam room to see what I got!
