Luxe Box - Winter 2013 Edition
Yes I know this almost a month late! Ooops! I had this box all
pulled apart and played with before I realized I forgot to post about it. Hehe.
The presentation of the Luxe Box is absolutely gorgeous.
The elegant white box with the satiny pouch bag that our luxurious samples come
in is a great treat.
I was going to cancel this box but I thought just one
more box..one more. I am glad I didn’t cancel as I was pleasantly surprised by
some of the samples in this box. Plus I needed a couple more boxes to finish
creating dividers in my makeup drawers LOL. These are the perfect size to put
in my Meike drawers.

Full Size: $7I liked this jumbo lip crayon so much I went out and bought another one in Rose Twist. I did a little review on them here. I am still obsessed with Rose Twist.

Full Size: 9ml/$19I found this mascara to be okay. I didn’t find it horrible but it didn’t shine like my two number ones; Benefit’s They’re Real and Marcelle’s Xtension Plus mascaras. I didn’t find it to be that volumizing but it did give me a bit of length. The only sad part was at the end of the day I had some flaking so that would be a no right there for me. I did like the hourglass shaped brush though.

Full Size: 150ml/$30I love LOVE this hand cream. I love the scent and how well it moisturizes my wintery dry hands for a long time. I have used this particular one before and it was a purse staple. I just need to get over to L’Occitane to get me some more. This month is L’Occitane’s 20 year anniversary so they are having some sales in-store and online.

Full Size: 250ml/$24I have tried the EVOLVh shampoos before. They are pretty good. I just think there are cheaper alternatives out there. Yeah I know I am cheap. I wish we could have gotten the accompanying conditioner!?! Maybe in our next box? LOL.

Full Size: 12ml/$28Okay I have to be honest here. I lost this sample. And now that I see that the 12ml sample we received is $28 I am a little sad. I am going to go look for it again. Hopefully it fell behind the bed in the spare room.
My initial thoughts are the only thing this all-in-one moisturizer seems to be missing is SPF. I NEED TO FIND IT!! ARGGHH Sooo bummed.

Full Size: $30These were cute and they would be good to have for puffy eyes. Butttt $30 for a pair??? {{{Snicker}}} I already had a gel mask that I bought from the dollarstore for a dollar! It almost looks like these eye pads were the cut outs from that dollarstore mask. But on the positive, these do work for eye disaster days. I keep mine in the freezer. If I need it I toss the mask in a pillowcase and slap it on my peepers. I use the pillow case because a) Who know what touched it in the freezer HEHE and b) its too cold to put right on the face so you need the cloth buffer. Frozen eyeball not good.

I am pretty please with this seasons Luxe Box. I will
find that Mereadesso moisturizer, I will! We did get an offer from Panty By Post but I am not really interested in getting a monthly panty subscription O_o and that's all I will say about that.

I completely forget to cancel and now I'm renewed for another year! Oh well, I like the Luxe Box so it's ok! I understand your feelings about the Panty by Post subscription...I can choose my own underwear thank you very much! And it's pretty expensive for what you get! I liked the polish and moisturizer though. I will post my box soon, but from what I remember instead of the CG lip pencil, I got this giant bath product. It obviously wasn't too memorable ;-)

DeleteI finally found the Mereadesso moisturizer! It fell behind my makeup table onto the cord catch or whatever they call it. YAY good thing I dust once in awhile!
